“I began working with stone at just four years old when I helped my father repair gaps in the drystone walls surrounding the family farm in Galloway, South-West Scotland. This sparked an interest in stonework which would eventually become my passion and career.”

FOUNDER & SCULPTOR
In 2007 James created his first stacked slate sculpture. Only a year later he held his first exhibition and since then has exhibited many times including annually at the world renowned RHS Chelsea Flower Show where he has received many awards.
James’ portfolio has grown over the years to include glass, bronze and mirror polished stainless steel with sculpture ranging from desktop size to monumental scale.
As well as installing many sculptures in Scotland and around the UK and Ireland, James’ work has gained international interest and adorns the homes and lawns of some of the world’s finest properties; from the Swiss Alps to the Blue Mountains. Across the USA, and from Australia to beach front villas of the Algarve and Caribbean, to the colder climes of Scandinavia.

Lesley, James’ wife, joined the business full-time in September 2014. As a Chartered Marketer, Lesley takes care of marketing and communications.
Lesley also works closely with our customers; from initial enquiry through to sculpture installation she is on hand to answer questions and advise on any aspect of the process of commissioning a sculpture.
